Baltimore offers the best of both worlds…we are close to the beach as well as mountains! In just a few hours you can be splashing your feet in the ocean or breezing your way down a ski slope. No matter where you go, there is always something exciting happening.
Close & Convenient Resorts
Because Baltimore is close to so many ski resorts , we have an abundance of snow bunnies and winter sports lovers. Within just an hour and a half you can be out of Baltimore and to a variety of ski resorts such as Liberty, White Tail or Round Top. All of these resorts offer great skiing close to home!
Close & Convenient Ski Shops
So with all of the Ski Resorts in the area also comes some really great ski shops…afterall, we have to have a place to get the necessary equipment!
Over the weekend, I took a trip along with my son, an avid skier, to my local Ski Shoppe Ltd. in Reisterstown for their Annual Used Equipment Sale. This sale comes around every year and is a great opportunity for skiers to sell their used equipment and find great deals!
In conjuction with the sale, Glen Plake was there to sign autographs. My son, being the ski fanatic that he is, was so excited to have the opportunity to meet Glen Plake and get a signed poster! So while we were not in the market for new ski equipment, we did walk away with a great new addition.
