Why Yaffe Real Estate does not trust the information on Zillow, Trulia & Realtor.com
This is a hot topic and this video explains why Yaffe Real Estate does not trust the accuracy of the information on Zillow, Trulia and Realtor.com. Those sites take our information and repackage it to the unsuspecting consumer. Even though this broker is in San Diego, he explains it well so I thought I would post it here.

Hi Linda, Brad from Zillow here. I can’t speak for all the companies mentioned above, but I can for Zillow. Just to clarify the statement in your post…
“Those sites take our information and repackage it to the unsuspecting consumer.”
All of our listing information comes from partners who feed us listings, such as MLS’s, brokerages and individual agents. Zillow obtains listings from multiple sources which include a direct agent feed, broker/franchise feed, a MLS feed, and finally third party syndicators.
Hi Linda – it’s just me again.
I wanted to let you know that Greg Schwartz just posted a detailed article regarding how Zillow works with Listing agents.
I’m pretty certain others agents will be interested in this too: http://www.zillow.com/blog/2012-02-03/how-zillow-works-with-listing-agents/
Thanks.
