Fresh Market opens in Towson

I have not been to the new Fresh Market in Towson yet but I know I will be there soon.  Here is a prior video we have  of Fresh Market at the Quarry and I am sure it will be similar fabulous shopping experience.  Great fruit, great fresh meats and definitely a beautiful store.  Welcome to Towson!

Fireworks tomorrow – June 25th at College Manor in Lutherville/Timonium!

I just drove down Seminary Avenue this morning and noticed the blankets out at College Manor.  It must be that time again and I just confirmed it – Fireworks are scheduled for College Manor on Saturday, 6/25.   So, go up there and put your blankets out NOW if you want a spot!

Startup City poised to turn Baltimore into an entrepreneurial hub

I really feel a change in Baltimore.  When you spend time in Canton, Fells Point, Federal Hill, Harbor East, Bolton Hill, you feel the energy.  So many young, smart people with great ideas.  I love it.

As a native Baltimorean, I know how we can get stale and stuck in our ways.  It is great to have so many people dedicated to serving and changing our Charm city.

Anne Arundel Population Growth & the Odenton Rental Rush

Not only do we love their clothes but Kevin Plank has been so loyal and so good to Baltimore and the state of Maryland.

Under Armour reached their goal of a $1 billion in sales in 2010 and also announced that they will be buying the Tide Point complex as their headquarters. Located in Locust Point, Under Armour will be walking distance from the popular neighborhoods of Federal Hill and the Inner Harbor.

This is so exciting for the state of Maryland.  Ft. Meade contributes $18 billion (yes, billion!) to our economy each year.  Wow!

One of the issues that BRAC is now focusing on is small businesses and how to connect them to BRAC opportunities.  This is music to my ears! 

There are 41,000 workers on base and 85% of them are white-collar civilian workers.  An average DISA employee is a computer and/or an electrical engineer and makes $108,000.  Another wow!

Boeing On-Site at Aberdeen Proving Ground – How Will this Affect the Harford County Real Estate Market?

The Boeing Company has just opened its new building inside Aberdeen Proving Ground.  They join several other defense contractors with locations in Aberdeen. 

This is exciting news and is very promising for the Harford County real estate market.  The new location will bring more jobs to the area, which will in turn mean more people moving, renting and buying homes there! 

With all of these defense contractors in town and with the BRAC moves, Aberdeen, Belair and the surrounding areas are doing quite well!  Stay tuned for some improved real estate numbers in the future.  For now, go to our Harford County Market Statistics.

Grilled Cheese Co plots Baltimore expansion – Eldersburg, Baltimore city, Columbia, Towson

The popular Grilled Cheese Co. in Catonsville is planning to expand!

The 2nd location open in Eldersburg in Carroll County early April.  The new location will be at 577 Johnsville Road!
